Take That fever band to tour with three day Sunderland

Take That fever band to tour with three day Sunderland is sweeping the city close kicks.

Fans excited are counting down the hours to the first show of Progress Live 2011, at the Stadium of Light on Friday.

The tour bandmate Robbie Williams who recently rejoined in 1995 after leaving with Take That will be the first.

Nicola Marsden, 34, a bank worker, from Seaham said: “I’m really excited. I saw them last time and they were amazing. The atmosphere was just great and it should be just as good this time.

“I’m excited to see Robbie as well. It’ll be different with him back.”

Her mum, Susan Hudspith, 55, from Seaham, said: “I never saw them last time but my daughter told me it was amazing so I’m really looking forward to it.”

Nurse Debbie Quinn, 38, from Grangetown, said: “I came last time and I thought it was absolutely brilliant, and it’s going to be even better now that Robbie’s back.”

Val Payne, from Roker, who works for Ramsdens, said: “I’m very excited. I could hear them practising the other night.

“My mam is 74 and even she’s coming. She wanted to last time but she said she couldn’t stand for as long but she’s coming this time.”

Sarah Calvert, 24, from Barnes, said: “I never went to see them last time, but a lot of my friends did and I felt a bit left out. Robbie was always my favourite as well so I can’t wait to see him.

“I think they’ll be trying their best to outdo the last show so it should be amazing. I’m going on the last night so hopefully it will go off with a bang.”

The 36 stadium shows in this tour with tickets selling out in 24 hours 1.34million is being snapped.
