Take That's tour plane was struck by lightening ahead of the start of the European leg

Take That's tour plane by the power of the Progress tour by lightenting ahead of the start of the European stage.

The opening show in Milan when the band plans to travel 35,000 feet instability adversely affected.

A source told the Daily Mirror: “The plane took off fairly normally, though we knew there was bad weather ahead, but mid way during the flight the turbulence was really quite frightening.

“Then suddenly, there was a bright flash, and the plane had obviously been struck by lightening.”

By the incident the source added that Take That's Gary Barlow, Mark Owen, Howard Donald, Jason Orange and Robbie Williams were left “quite shaken up”.
