Take That Tour Is Still On Says Robbie Williams


Despite recent speculation Robbie Williams has confirmed that Take That's tour is still on.

Because of Gary Barlow's 40th birthday celebrations in London,singer was absent from his bandmates.

''I'm really looking forward to seeing you, I miss you,'' Williams said in a video message to Barlow.

He added: ''And just want to put your mind at ease about the tour - I know you're worried about my mental health. Well, I'm on meds, everything is fine, everything will be really cool. Love you loads.''

Take That singer Gary Barlow said he sees the band being a four-piece again in the future after this comment the speculation raised about Robbie Williams.

Take That's dates are due to begin in Stoke at the end of May

Gary Barlow plans romantic break

Take That band frontman Gary Barlow is thinking for a romantic holidays along with his wife Dawn,they had 3 children though he claims he is worried about how well they will get along without the rest of their family.

He said: "The kids keep us pretty busy, although in about a week's time, we're going off on holiday, me and the wife with no kids, for the first time in about 11 years. I'm making a list of things we can talk about!

"I'm really looking forward to it, I'm taking my keyboard with me, and my laptop. No I'm not really."

He told BBC Radio 2 DJ Chris Evans: "I get really insulted when people bring their phones to the dinner table and send texts, am I not important enough for you? It really annoys me. "

Take That revealed his big music in academic debate

Take That band revealed his big music again along Robbie Williams by scholars in a new academic debate.

A new two-day conference will be run by Tim Wise at the University of Salford and it will be called 'Making Things Whole Again: The Take That Reunion'.

A notice for staff and students speech: 'The long-anticipated reunion of Take That and Robbie Williams, and the unprecedented sales figures for their summer tour 2011, offer an excellent opportunity for scholars from a range of academic disciplines to discuss key issues arising from this contemporary popular music phenomenon. The break-up of a favoured band has had profound implications for fans, followers, and the music industry.

Also read, 'The convenors invite papers from any discipline which address the themes of break-up and reunion of popular music acts. We are particularly interested in papers addressing these issues in relation to Take That and boy bands generally.'

Take That's reunion at an academic conference

At an academic conference pop star Take That's

reunion is to be debated, after begins tour the group's stadium the two day event will play at Salford University on one week in June.

It is billed as "an interdisciplinary conference examining the theme of break-up and reunion in popular music acts, focusing on Take That".

It promises to examine "the narrative structures [that] characterise Take That's journey" and the psychological and social roles that reunions fulfil.

Take That's latest album, Progress, saw the comeback of former member Robbie Williams to the fold. This album sale at least 1.8 million copies and it was the UK's best selling album 2010.

Take That's summer tour starts in Sunderland on 27 May. According to the conference website, it offers "an excellent opportunity for scholars from a range of academic disciplines to discuss key issues arising from this contemporary popular music phenomenon. From at least the time of the Beatles, the break-up of a favoured band has had profound implications for fans, followers, and the music industry".

Take That band become top Amazon


Take That band have gone in the Amazon's top selling music artists with their album Progress.

When they arrive in Susan Boyle's launch album I Dreamed a Dream then the top of the internet giant's sales list.

Robbie Williams and his bandmates also sold out The Beatles and Michael Jackson.

Take That's take position in the 2010 sixth best seller overall for amazon.co.uk.

TAKE THAT have been warming their cockles in the Caribbean.


Take That band GARY BARLOW, MARK OWEN, JASON ORANGE and HOWARD DONALD are pictured playing at a party in Barbados thrown for family and friends of the man band's label bosses at Universal.

Due to "family commitments" newly returned member ROBBIE WILLIAMS was not availble but the rest of the band played on, at a swish resort on the island.
